Union Printer

Unions are organizations of workers who unite to achieve common goals for workers and quality standards for produced products.

When a printing store is labeled as ‘union’, they offer the Allied Printing Trades Council label known as the ‘bug.’ It is a stamp of approval when a customer orders from a union printer. It means that the shop adheres to all the characteristics of printing union standards: Fair wages, safe working environments, and quality workmanship by journeyman print masters.
