Wide Format Print Operator

Wide Format Print Operator

Primary Function: RIP and run multiple large format printers at one time. Be well-organized with excellent follow through skills and be a high energy multi-tasker used to a fast paced, deadline oriented environment. The ability to schedule, negotiate and track projects is crucial.

    Essential Duties:

  • Run multiple large format printers. UV and Eco Solvent
  • RIP files in both Onyx and Caldera
  • Clean and maintain printers
  • Schedule job completion times to maintain deadlines
  • Observe and inform manager of any quality problems.
  • Perform housekeeping duties as needed.
  • Responsible for safe performance of duties.

    Qualifications:

  • Must be dependable and have excellent attendance.
  • Must be available to work overtime during the week and weekend.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 10 pounds, up to 70 pounds unaided.
  • Requires lifting, bending and stooping on a constant basis, at least 80% of the time
  • Must have dependable transportation
Letterpress Operator

Letterpress Operator

Letterpress Operator- Experienced in operations including, Die-Cutting, Kiss-Cutting, Foiling, Embossing, and Cylinder Die-Cutting.

    Essential Duties:

  • Set up and run Windmill Letterpress to foil, emboss, and deboss
  • Cross-train on other bindery equipment.
  • Read instructions from job ticket.
  • Assist with making “job ready” by running samples to adjust quality, registration, rule up’s, proof reading.
  • Adjusts press machine parts, such as feeder and delivery mechanisms, suction grippers, guides, feed wheels, and jogging devices.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
  • Perform preventative maintenance such as lubrication, cleaning and minor adjustments.
  • Work as part of a team and participate in the company’s Continuous Improvement program.

    Job Requirements and Skills Required

  • Specific knowledge of letterpress & bindery equipment gained either through formal study or job experience.
  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Strong organizational abilities.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to read and understand job ticket proofs and all other job related paperwork.
  • Good decision making skills and willing to assume responsibility for the work produced.
  • Must be dependable and have a solid work ethic MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIRED:

  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED
  • 2 years or more of Letterpress experience

Schedule/Shift:

This is a full-time position. M-F 8:00 – 4:30, OT as needed

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift or move items up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift or move items up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Bindery Operator

Bindery Operator

Working as a Bindery Operator, you would set up, adjust and operate all relevant bindery equipment such as: folders with continuous feeders; saddle stitching; cutting and sheet laminating to produce quality finished products that meet customer specifications and quality standards.

    Essential Duties:

  • Sets up and operates the bindery and finishing equipment according to requirements, while ensuring maximum productivity and quality.
  • Works safely, adhering to all Company policies.
  • Review job tickets and plan work processes to meet customer specifications.
  • Make machine (s) ready, set up assigned machines to specifications and run products as required
  • Troubleshoot machine problems, resolve when possible.
  • Maintain proper machine maintenance and lubrication
  • Maintain departmental housekeeping standards, such as keeping floors swept and absent of debris that may be a work hazard
  • Strong Team Player
  • Must be dependable and have a good work ethic
  • Performs all other duties as assigned

Driver/Warehouse Helper

Driver/Warehouse Helper

This role is dedicated to ensuring the successful day-to-day delivery of orders to customer’s facilities using the delivery van and helping with other warehouse functions.

    Essential Duties:

  • Obey all traffic laws and company policies
  • Maintain professional and clean appearance and establish rapport with ongoing clients.
  • Meet requested delivery times and provide customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Package finished product in a professional manner.
  • Load and unload trucks, vans, or automobiles. Unload at customer locations as requested.
  • Use a computer to enter information, ship product, and update communicaitons about the status of jobs.
  • Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment, such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, or brakes, to ensure that vehicles are in proper working condition.
  • Present delivery receipts and request signature on all goods delivered or loaded.
  • Report delays, customer information, or other situations to appropriate team members.
  • Receive and prepare shipping and delivery items, using forklift, hand loading, or manual pallet jack.

  • Forklift Certified
  • Must be at least 25 years old

This is a full-time position. M-F 10:00 – 6:30, OT as needed

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration while in warehouse and outside weather conditions while driving.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling,driving and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift or move items up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift or move items up to 50 pounds.
